The Zionists-Revisionists will
observe the 21st Yahrzeit
(Tammuz 29) of Zeev Jabotinsky,
founder of the Zionist-Revision-
ist World Movement at memor-
ial rites July 16 at Shaarey
Shomayim Synagogue, 14200 W.
Ten Mile, Oak Park.
Jabotinsky organized Pales-
tine's Jewish Legion in 1917,
Haganah in 1919, and as Su-
preme Commander of the Irgun
Zvai Leumi, established the
Jewish underground during the
British Mandate.
He died in 1940 in New York
at the age of 64.
Principal speaker at the meet-
ing will be Dr. Joseph B.
Schechtman, for 30 years a
close associate of Jabotinsky,
and the author of the two-
volume "Jabotinsky-Rebel and
Statesman."
Cantor Hyman Adler of Con-
