Vows Exchanged

MRS. SANFORD SMITH

Rhoda Ellen Hammerstein and
Sanford Irving. Smith were united
in marriage June 11 at the Hill-
crest Country Club.
Daughter of the Samuel G.
Hammerstein of Avon Ave., Oak
Park, the bride wore a gown of
Alencon lace silk mist. Mr. Smith
is: the son of Mrs. Harold Smith
of Dartmouth Ave., Oak Park, and
the late Mr: Smith.
Mrs. Jack Pearlman was her
sister's matron of honor, and
bridesmaids were Lois Bassin,
Irma Richman, Linda Bernstein
and Mesdames Fred Schatz, Den-
nis Silber and Norman Cohen. -
Gerald Coleman was best man,
and ushers were Richard Azimov,
Stanley Hammerstein, Robert Na-
thanson, Spencer Reubeh, Mi-
chael Aller and Arnold Eckhouse.
The newlyweds honeymooned
on the West Coast.

through the Black Hills and
