Fri., May 26 —
Thru Tues.

IN ORDER TO FORGE a stronger and more permanent
link in the chain binding the Jewish Youth in Detroit to the
State of Israel, the Jewish National Fund is presenting a
special framed certificate, as shown above, to all boys and
girls who celebrated their 13th birthday during the year 5721,
during which period the State of Israel observed its 13th
or Bar Mitzvah Anniversary. The first such presentation took
place at the Annual Awards Night on May 3 of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek, at which 125 thirteen-year-olds received these certificates
from Morris J. Brandwine, Detroit JNF president. Similar
presentations will be made at all Synagogues and educational
institutions during the next several weeks. Among those
scheduled so far are Temple Emanu-El, May 20; Congregations
ses and Ahavas Achim, May 21; Downriver Jewish Corn-
enter Sunday School, May 28; Hayim Greenberg
dish Shule, June 20.
