to be held from noon to 10 p.m.
May 13 ir, the Oak Park Com-

The show honOrs the nation
of Israel's 13th anniversary of
independence. Cachets com-
memorating this theme are ten
cents each and can be obtained
at the door or by mail from

A special feature of the show
will be a penny, bourse with
material donated by the club
members. All proceeds will go
to a worthy philatelic charitable
enterprise.
Both junior and adult phila-
telists may enter. Anyone who
has not reached his or her 16th
birthday may enter the junior
division.
The Dr. Edward E. Stein
Memorial Award will be given
the Best in Show plus first,
second and. third place certifi-
cates in each classification. An
American Topical Association
certificate will be awarded the
best topical exhibit.

Israeli Students Here
to Fete Bar Mitzvah
of Their Homeland
The Israeli students of De-
troit will celebrate the 13th
anniversary of independence of
the State of Israel 8:30 p.m.
May 6 at the International In-
stitute, 111 E. Kirby. -
Co-sponsors of the event are
the Israeli Students Organiza-
tion, Bnai Brith Hillel Founda-
tion and the International Stu-
dent Society of Wayne State
University.
Special guest will be David
Tesher, Israel's Consul General
in Chicago, and the Kinneret
Company, a group of Israelis
studying at the University of
Chicago, will perform with songs
and dances, Members of all con-
sulates in the area also have
been invited as guests.
Dick Stein and his orchestra
will provide music for dancing,
and refreshments will be served.
Admission is free. All young
adults are invited.
