Swainson Committee

Max Osnos has been named
to head one of six campaign
groups of the recently formed
executive committee of the "John
B. Swainson for Governor Com-
mittee."
The Executive Committee,
which will coordinate the ac-
tivities of all individual com-
mittees, is composed of leaders
of six separate groups, each of
which will organize volunteer
Workers in the cause of the
Democratic nominee.
Osnos is head of the Business
and Industry for Swainson
group.
Members of the executive
committee include also Mrs'.
Harry Becker, Dr. William Bir-
enbaum, Dr. Sander Breiner,
Marvin Meltzer, Al Meyers,

Light launches a series of 13
episodes from American Jewish
history. First dramatization in
the new series will be "Land of
Deliverance" by Joseph Mindel.
Previously the Eternal Light,
a presentation of The Jewish
Theological Seminary of Amer-
ica, has treated each weekly
