Mr. and Mrs. Jack Iden, of 10005 Elgin, Huntington Woods,
will spend a week at Oaktofi Manor Resort, Lake Pewaukee, Wis.,
and then journey to Chicago to visit with former Detroiters, Dr.
and Mrs. Jack P. Fink. On their return, Mrs. Iden will be in-
. stalled as president of Robert J. Rafelson Auxiliary of the
Jewish War Veterans at a supper dance May 14.

Pledges of Delta Phi Epsilon sorority who entertained
their "big sisters" at a brunch recently were Linda Friedman,
Lois Zumberg, Barbara Faudem, Barbara Pelavin, Gail Landeau,
Barbara Victor, Sidney Fox, Sonia Bershas, Linda Berkower,
Sandy Beron, Nancy Victorson, Arlene Leder, Mary August and
June Levy.

Mr. Kenneth H. Robiner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myer Robiner,
of 20403 Renfrew, has been elected master of Alpha Epsilon Pi
fraternity on the campus of Ohio Northern University, Ada, 0.
Mr. Robiner, a junior major in physical education, is active in
the Inter-Fraternity Council, Physical Education Club, Northern
Boosters and in intra-mural activities.

Mrs. Evelyn Ross and Mrs. Bertha Goldberg arrived in Israel
last week after a two-week tour of Europe. Mrs. Ross and Mrs.
Goldberg will stop in Paris and London on the way home.
Mrs. Jeannette Pernick arrived in Israel for a month's stay
before touring through Europe and Scandinavia.
Mrs. Bertha Weisner is presently in Israel for a six-week
stay with her daughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Shaye are in the Soviet Union visiting
relatives in Odessa. . -
Mr. Nathan Steinberg, of Cincinnati, (fornierly of Detroit)
is visiting his family in Riga and Kiev.
Mrs. Claire Cole and Mrs. Ann Polozker are on an extended
tour of Europe, visiting England, France, Switzerland, and Italy.
Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Bright left New York last week aboard
the SS United States for a seven-week trip to Israel and Europe.
Mr. Jacob Garfield arrived on the continent last week aboard
the Queen Elizabeth for a short stay in Paris before proceeding
to Israel.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Cornfield arrived in Israel for the
12th anniversary celebrations.

Miss Rose Chesluk, of 17203 Ohio, now visiting in Israel, was
recently honored for her activities in behalf of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund and other causes when she attended the traditional
Passover seder held at ZOA House in Tel Aviv. Host for the
evening was Yosef Serlin, a Knesset deputy, while Rabbi Y. I.
Unterman, Chief Rabbi of Tel Aviv, conducted the ceremony.
Preceding the seder ceremony, Miss Chesluk was taken on a tour
of the ZOA House.
