will be in Detroit to address
the meeting, according to Mrs.
Phillip Edelheit, Council presi-
dent.
A past president of District
No. 1, largest of all the BBW
districts, Mrs. Rosenbluth is a
national executive board mem-
ber, has served as Anti-Defama-
tion League chairman and is
listed in the 1959 edition of
"Who's Who in American
Women."
Highlighting the evening's
entertainment, there will be an
"Around the Clock" fashion
show by several local firms.
Refreshments will be served.

only to new or prospective

Is One-Day Drive for Members

Mumford seniors are planning
their annual snow trip to -Echo
Valley, a ski resort near Kala-
mazoo. They will leave school
at 6 a.m., Jan. 16, and arrive at
the Valley at 11 a.m., to spend
the rest of the day skating and
tobogganing. Following dinner,
the students will enjoy dancing
and a dance contest in addition
to the variety show, written and
directed by Fred Miller, Judy
Mandell. Cy Fruchter and Mark
Gould. It will include vaude-
ville-type acts and a skit by the
senior class officers, Mark
Gould, Sue Cole, Bob Epstein,
and Christine Holmberg. Harry
Lister and Stu Freedman will
serve as masters of ceremonies.
Others participating in the
production are Linda Aranoff,
Jimmy Fuller, Judy Mandell,
Jaedene Roberts, Lenore Lem-
pert, Thomas Segall and Gary
Stern.
At a recent cocktail party,
Mr. and Mrs. Sam L. Schneider,
of Santa Rosa Dr., announced
the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Ann Beverly, to Robert
Yale Brown, son of Mrs. Helen
Brown, of Norfolk Ave., and
the late Edmund Brown.
