came the bride of Edward Allen
Mayer. Rabbi Israel I. Halpern
and Cantor Shabtai Ackerman
officiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Litvin,
of Woodingham Dr. The bride-
groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. David Mayer, of Appoline
Ave.
The new Mrs. Mayer chose
a gown of.white chiffon taffeta
with rounded neckline, trimmed
with lace, tiny seed pearls and
sequins. Her skirt with chapel
train fell into pleats adorned
with the seed pearls and lace.
Her two-tiered fingertip veil
was held with a crown of seed
pearls. She carried a cascade of
white orchids on a white Bible.
Mrs. Sam Faigenbaum, sister
of the bride, was her matron of
honor, and Roslyn Lichtenstein
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids
were Mrs. Irwin Maniloff, sister
of the bride, Mrs. James Mayer,
the bridegroom's sister-in-law,
and Roslyn Mayer, his sister.
Resa Faigenbaum, niece of the
bride, served as flower girl.
James Mayer, the bride-
groom's brother, was best man,
while ushers were Sam Faigen-
baum and Irwin Ma nilof f,
brothers-in-law of the bride, and
Robert Yucht.
In the wedding procession
were Mr. Mayer's grandmother,
Mrs. Isadore Jakobovitz a n d
uncle, Adolph Jacobs.
Out-of-town guests were from
Chicago, South Haven and
Ocean Side, L.I., New York.
Following dinner and a recep-
tion, the couple left for a honey-
moon to the Catskills and New
York City. They now reside on
Rensselaer Ave., Oak Park.

Shope ground beef into balls. Combine eggs, flour, salt and
pepper. Dip meat balls in batter and fry in oil until brown.
Remove meat balls and keep hot. Pour out all but 1 tablespoon
oil from skillet. Add 7 /2 cup bouillon, green pepper and pine-
apple. Cover and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Mix
remaining ingredients and add. Cook, stirring constantly, until
mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Add meat balls and
simmer for 15 minutes. Serves 6.
