Kosher Zion Readies
New, Small Package

A new four-ounce package of
corned beef, with its delicious
flavor vacuum sealed, is now
being made available by the
Kosher Zion Sausage Co. in
Detroit.
Attractively packaged, neat
and handy, it is 'now possible
to serve this tasty, tangy, tra-
ditionally flavored corned beef
directly from the package be-
cause the meat is pre-cooked
and pre-sliced.
The new package, designed
for storage in the refrigerator
for weeks or in freezer com-
partments for month s, is
vacuum sealed.
Only minutes- are required to
prepare Kosher-Zion's corned
beef for the table. The package
is- submerged unopened, for
about two minutes in an un-
covered pan of boiling water
and then removed for imme-
diate serving.

JWV Gives an Assist to New U.S. Citizens

John Nemon, chairman of the
Americanism committee of the
Department of Michigan, Jew-
ish War Veterans, has an-
nounced that JWV is continuing
its program of presenting em-
bossed copies of the Bill of
Rights to newly-inducted citi-
zens.
The ceremonies are conduct-
ed every Tuesday morning at
the U. S. District Court in De-
troit when new classes of citi-
zens are naturalized.
Nemon stated that special
ceremonies are being planned
at this week's swearing-in exer-
cises. This date coincides with
the anniversary of the Bill of
Rights. On this occasion JWV
will be joined by other veteran
groups in the community in

making the presentations to the
new citizens.

At the same time, U.S. judges
and naturalizatiOn . officials will
be honored by the participating

veteran organizations.
