tury ago, the Hebrew Ladies
Aid Society aids the needy,
sick, widows and orphans, and
provides funds for a variety of
causes here and in Israel.
The work of its original mem-
bership is carried out now by
many of the. children of found-
ing members, together with
their mothers.

gogue social hall. -
Prof. Hendenhall, an author-
ity in ancient studies, will speak
on "The Bible in the Light of
Archaeology."
