dek. Open house in his honor
will be held from 4 to 11 p.m.,

of Mexico City, have announced
the engagement of their daugh-
ter, Bluma, to Donald Herman,
son of Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Herman, of W. Outer Dr.
Miss Lupa, a graduate of
Mexican Normal School, has
been teaching in Mexico City.
Mr. Herman is a graduate of
the University of Michigan and
holds a masters degree from
Wayne State University.
Following a Jan. 10 wedding
at Mt. Sinai Synagogue, in
Mexico City, and a honeymoon
in Acapulco, the couple will
reside in Ann Arbor while Mr.
Herman continues his studies
toward a PhD degree in politi-
cal science.

Plan Social Evening

The Women's Auxiliary of the
Town and Country Club is plan-
ning a "get-acquainted social"
at 8:30 p.m., Monday, in the
Sholem Aleichem Institute,
19350 Greenfield.
Mrs. Sidney Bornstein, pro-
gram vice-president, announces
that a creative living demon-
stration will be presented by
Maxine Sh ,ldon. Experts in
antiques and accessories will
discuss the selection of objects
to enhance the decor of the
