For the third year in a row,

formed an agglomeration' at
Haven Hill Lodge in Milford,
Aug. 7, 8 and 9.

Perhaps to keep the family
from reminiscing too much
about the clan history, Mrs.
Muriel Netzorg Robinove, pro-
gram chairman, had planned a
series of weekend activities, in-
cluding a talk by Russell Patter-
son, regional educational super-
visor of the state department
of conservation; a historical
survey of Jewish pioneers in
Michigan by Irving Katz, execu-
tive secretary of Temple Beth
El; and an armchair travelogue,
"Around the World in 1958,"
by Mrs. Robinove.
A special viewing of the fam-
ily exhibit and historical travel
exhibit presented by Jock Net-
zorg were featured.
Presiding over the discussions
and tributes, genealogy report
and business meeting, was
general chairman Joseph J.

December wedding.

It's also because the Netzorgs,
many of them with different
married names now, are sprin-
kled throughout the countr
in a 13-state pattern.

It's quite a tradition which
the family — still stubbornly
called the Ten-State Club —
brought with them to their
secluded spot near Pontiac.
There's the original Michigan
branch of the tree, including
pioneers in the lumbering in-
dustry, storekeepers, business-
men. And there are the others
who have made good: a circuit
judge, a concert pianist, an
artist, executives.

Netzorgs Hold a Little Shindig
Just for the Immediate Family

When the Netzorg family gets
together for a reunion, it's not
just a "small, intimate affair,"
it's a convention.
That's because the Netzorgs
date back six generations to
Michael Netzorg, of Pren, Lith-
uania, who sent his six sons
and a daughter to settle in
America.
