of 1,000 trees named for Ger-
man Chancellor Dr. Konrad
Adenauer is being planted in
Israel "as a token of gratitude"
for his efforts to effect restitu-
tion to Nazi victims: A certifi-
cate of purchase of these trees
from the Jewish National Fund
was presented to the German
Consul General here. Dr. Georg
Federer, by a committee com-
posed of former German citi-
zens.
