at a musical program planned
for 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the
Hayim Greenberg Center, 19161
Schaefer. Estelle Kaufman and
Rose Kling will sing a medley
of songs, with Rose Mash at the
piano, and the Young Judaean
Dance Group will be featured in
a program of modern Israeli
dances. Purim refreshments will
be served.

Eastern Star Sponsoring
Cake Sale at Northland

A cake sale at the Northland
Center office of the Detroit
Edison Co. is planned for Mon-
day afternoon by the Oak Park
Chapter, Order of the Eastern
Star.
Initiation ceremonies will be
conducted at 8:30 p.m., Thurs-
day, in the Ferndale Women's
Club, when alternate officers
will perform the rituals.

"Miami or Bust" is the theme
of a fund-raising show to be
presented by HENRY MOR-
GANTHAU LODGE on Monday
evening, at Jericho Temple. A
floor show will be featured, and
refreshments will be served,
according to Sidney Cohn and
Charles Kaplan, co-chairmen.
Elected as delegates to the na-
tional convention, July 5 to 8, in
Winnipeg, are Paul Richman,
Iry Davis, Leo Sobel, Hilbert
Sosin, Harold Weiss and Sidney
Cohn. Alternates are Jack Rose
and Sam Faigenbaum.

Michael Tarnow, a 10th grade
student at Oak Park High
School, will discuss his exper-
iences in Israel at a meeting of
LOUIS MARSHALL LODGE at
8:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the Ha-
yim Greenberg Center, 19161
Schaefer. Michael spent seven
_ weeks in the Jewish state last
summer as a delegate from the
Detroit Area Council of the Boy
Scouts of America to the World
Scouting Jamboree. He is an
Eagle Scout. Also featured on
the program will be Morton
Plotnick, former national presi-
dent of the Bnai Brith Youth
Organization, who also was a
recent visitor in Israel, and
Percy Kaplan, executive direc-
tor of the Jewish National FUnd
Council of Detroit. A social hour
will follow.

hold its third annual pot luck
dinner at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday,

Mr. and Mrs. Philip Einstan-
dig, of Huntington Woods, an-
nounce the engagement of their
daughter, Craina Naomi, to
Richard Knoll, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Sidney Knoll, of Park-
side Dr.
Mr. Knoll attended Michigan
State University, where he
was affiliated with Alpha Epsi-
lon Pi fraternity and Delta Phi
Epsilon honorary society. He
is now a student at the Univer-
sity of Michigan.

Parents Talk to Heads of
Camp Red Wing for Girls

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin L. Silver,
directors of Camp Red Wing for
girls, were greeted by many in-
terested parents on their visit
here last Saturday and Sunday.
The camp, established in 1918,
is operated for girls, ages 7-13,,
and is located on Schroon Lake
in the Adirondacks.
Those who missed seeing the
Silvers on the recent visit can
inquire about the camp by writ-
