Mr. and Mrs. Robert Danto, of 1560 Wellesley, entertained
at a cocktail party last Tuesday evening honoring new members
of the Sigma Alpha Mu Mothers' Group, which is affiliated with
the Ann Arbor Iota Chapter of the fraternity.
Mr. and Mrs. Israel Z. Taines, of 3275 W. Outer Dr., left
last week by car for Miami Beach, Fla., where they will spend
several weeks with their son, Mr. Gerald W. Taines and his
family, of Ncirth Miami Beach. They will return here after the
Passover holidays.
Miss Trudy Margules, of New York City, will be in Detroit
Thursday to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Tanyi Margules, of 19760 Greenlawn, before continuing to Cleve-
land, where she will attend a convention.
A surprise birthday party was given recently for Aubrey
Leo Caplan by his brothers at the Detroit Furniture Club. A "This
