Elected and installed as new
officers of OAK PARK POST,
at its last meeting, were Mau-
rice Noble, commander; Harold
Bodner amp' Jack Guttenplan,
vice-commanders; Martin Baum-
garten, quartermaster; Neland
Klonel, adjutant; Abel Selburn,
judge advocate; David Bortnick,
Sol Alpiner, William Peters,
Charles Isakson, Harold Kemp-
ner, Ben Edelstein and Avery
Joseff, trustees. John Nemon,
department commander, was in-
stalling officer. This Tuesday,
the group will meet at 9 p.m.,
in Bodner's home, 24301 Seneca,
Oak Park. A social hour will
follow.

Beth Abraham was the scene
Jan. 11 for a candlelight cere-
money which united in mar-
riage Ileene Rosenzweig, daugh-
ter - of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Ros-
enzweig, of Freeland Ave.. and
Seymour Zate, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Kalman Zate, of Elmhurst
Ave.
The bride wore a princess-
style gown of bouquet taffeta,
sabring neckline and bodice of
Chantilly lace encrusted with
seed pearls. Iler lace and pearl
head-piece was adorned with a
finger-tip French illusion veil.
She carried a white Bible cov-
ered with white orchids and
stephanotis.

Mrs. Harold Jacobs, president
of Lt. ROY F. GREEN AUX-
ILIARY, announces that Mrs.
Marcus Scheinker and Mrs.
Jerry Dale will report on the
forthcoming "Star Spangled
Revue" and a paid-up mem-
bership party at its meeting
Tuesday,, in the Memorial Home.
Cancer pads will be sewn, after

MICHIGAN AUXILIARY will
participate in the Michigan
Women's National Security Con-
ference on Feb. 26, at the
Wolverine Hotel. Mrs. Philip
Bernstein, Department vice-
president, will serve as program
chairman for the parley, which
will feature addresses by Wil-
liam H. Bannan, warden at
Jackson Prison, and George
Romney, president of American
Motors Corp. and chairman of
the Mayor's Advisory Commit-
tee on Education. The MWNSC
will be attended by members
of civic, patriotic and social
organizations.

Her sister, Sue Rosenzweig, was

Aesculapians to Hear
Talk by WSU Dean

Wayne State University phar-
ma-cy college dean Steven Wil-
son will address Aesculapian
Pharmaceutical Association at 9
p.m., Monday,• at Rainbow Ter-

Herbert A. Green, of Ohio Ave.,
and Leonard M. Salle, son of

by Rabbi M. Robert Syme at a
candlelight ceremony at Temple
Israel on Jan. 25.
The bride wore a gown of
Chantilly lace and tulle with a
fingertip veil. She was attended
by her sister-in-law Marilyn
Salle as matron of honor; Susan
Hart was maid of honor, and
bridesmaids Carla J o s e p h,
Helaine Moltz and Georgia Berg-
man. The bride's sister, Carol
Green, was junior bridesmaid,
and Karen Duchan was flower
girl.
Richard Salle was best man.

Simons Branch Events
to Highlight Musicals

The Golden Friendship Circle
of the Older Adults at the D. W.
Simons Jewish Center will pre-
sent a concert of Jewish Music
at 8:30 p.m.. Feb. 24.
Members of the older adults
department will be featured in
the concert. to be given at the
Simons branch. 4000 Tuxedo.
The Older Adult chorus will
be conducted by Malka Shaw.
Featured performers will in-
clude Cantor David Horowitz,
Mrs. Pearl Schlussel and Paul
Wineman.
The Center Mothers' Clubs
council will present a concert
of Yiddish and • Hebrew folk
songs at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at
the Simons branch. Mrs. Shaw,
vocalist and pianist, will be the
