songs, skits, humor and drama.

end for two at the Concord.
Proceeds from the event will
be used to refurbish the kitchen
of the synagogue.

TB Society to Honor

2,000 Volunteers
More than 2,000 volunteer
workers who have served the
Tuberculosis and Health Society
will be honored at a "Sweet-
heart Tea," on Wednesday, in
the Veterans Memorial Build-
ing, 151 W. Jefferson.
Melvindale physician Max L.
Lichter, who is president of the
Society and will head the re-
ceiving line at the tea, said
that "volunteers are the life-
blood of our society. Without
these 'sweethearts' who give
unselfishly of their time and
money there could be no vol-
untary TV control program to
do the big job in our commun-
ities in helping to keep our
people healthy."
