their daughter, Shirley, to
Harry L. Jubas, son of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Yitzchok
M. Jubas.
Miss Weinstock is a senior
in the , college of education at
Wayne State University. Her
fiance, a graduate of Wayne's
college of education, is an or-
dained rabbi and holds a cer-
tificate from the Hebrew Uni-
versity in Jerusalem.
The couple is planning an
Aug. 17 wedding.

Brandeis Women
to Hold Annual
Garden Meeting
Detroit Women's Committee
of Brandeis University will cel-
ebrate its 10th birthday at the
organization's annual spring
garden meeting, to be held Mon-
day afternoon, in the home of

Entertainment highlight of
the afternoon will be a new
version of the musical, "Belles
Are Ringing," to be presented

panist. In the cast are Mes-
dames Eugene Hirsch, Marvin
Mintz, Albert Newman, Manny
Rotenberg, Lester Weill and
Sidney Winer.
Mrs. Charles Nannes is chair-
man of the day, and is assisted
by Mrs. John C. Hopp, Jr.,
hospitality, and Mrs. Jack Lef-
ton, luncheon. Election of offi-
cers also will take place.
Mrs. Oscar Z e m o n, a past
president of the Detroit Wo-
men's Chapter and a national
officer, led a delegation to the
10th annual conference of the
National Women's Committee,
which was held earlier this
week at the Brandeis campus.
A special ceremony on the
site of the new Brandeis library,
being built by the Women's
Committee, was the sealing of
a microfilm list of all life mem-
bers of the organization in the
foundation of the building.
Revisionists to Meet
United Zionist-Revisionists of
Detroit will meet at 8:30 p.m.,
Wednesday, at 12244 Dexter.
Nominations of officers will be
held, and plans for the coming
Herzl - Jabotinsky memorial
meeting will be discussed.

Col. Greenbaum Heads
Army Training Session
Staff members and faculty of
the Detroit USAR School, un-
der the command of Col. Ervin
Greenbaum, of 17500 Birchcrest,
reported at Fort Riley, Kan.,
June 1, to conduct active duty
training for the Fifth U. S.
Army Infantry Reserve officers.
Emphasis during this period
is on training in concepts of
modern warfare, the new pen-
tomic division organization, and
use of, and defense against nu-
clear weapons.
The summer active duty en-
campment will end June 22. Col.
Greenbaum, his staff and fac-
ulty will then return to Detroit
to resume inactive duty training
