largest collection of old He-

Seminary of America in New

The earliest Jewish printers
considered their work "holy"
and they also had an eye for
beauty. Thus, as in the instance
of the Bible owned by Harry
Nessel, the illustrations are the
result of true artistic taste.

Special services in tribute to
Israel's tenth anniversary of
Statehood will be held by mem-
bers of the Conservative Con-
gregations of Greater Detroit.
These services, scheduled for
Saturday, will include selected
readings relating to the growth
of Israel during the past decade
and the spiritual leaders of par-
ticipating synagogues will de-
vote their sermons to this great
historic event.
