An appeal to Jews throughout
the world, particularly to Jew-
ish youth, to mark the 15th
anniversary of the Warsaw
Ghetto uprising, has been issued
in New York by Dr. I. Schwarz-
bart, director of the World Jew-
ish Congress' Organization De-
partment. This year's anniver-
sary falls on April 17, coincid-
ing with the 27th of Nisan.
Dr. Schwarzbart's appeal is
contained in a 19-page booklet,
"The Burning Dream of the
Jewish Staate in the Burning
Ghetto of Warsaw," dedicated
to Mordechai Anielewicz, the re-
volt commander, giving a de-
tailed analysis of the extent to
which Jewish communities con-
tinue to observe the anniversary.
The statistics show that in 1957
there were commemoration cer-
emonies in 46 countries as com-
pared with 42 in 1956.

brate the holiday with a third
seder, Tuesday, April 8, at 8
p.m. A special program, planned
by the Israel Culture Club, will
feature the Choral Group, under
the direction of Mrs. Mollie
Weisberg, and a dramatic pres-
entation of the Passover theme,
according to William Friedman,
club president.
Jewish Parents Institute chil-
dren's clubs will hold model
seders at the homes of mem-
bers. Each club will meet on
Sunday, April 6 in lieu of regu-
lar meeting that date.
Juniors at the Davison branch
will participate in a Passover
Pageant featuring a presentation
of "The Boy Moses," a junior
choir program and a modern
dance group at the Hyman C.
Broder auditorium at 2:30 p.m.
April 13.
The Prevons, one of the older
teen clubs, will meet at the
home of club leader Al Engle-
man for its seder.
Children in both sections of
the Nursery School will partici-
pate in a model seder today at
the playschool.
Grape juice will replace tra-
ditional wine but all other fea-
tures of the seder will be pre-
served.
Young adults will dance to
the music of the "Explorers"
at a Pesach Prance at the Ten
Mile branch on Sunday evening,
April 6, beginning at 9 p.m.
Transportation to Ten Mile will
be available at Davison branch.
Teens at the Ten Mile branch,
15110 W. Ten Mile Road, will
participate in a Passover pro-
gram, on Monday. A club dis-
cussion on "What are the four
questions?" will stimulate gen-
eral participation on the signifi-
cance of Passover. Passover deli-
cacies will be served. Ten Mile
Tweens will participate in a
candlelit chometz hunt, while
the Juniors will be busily occu-
pied in preparing and decorat-
ing their haggadahs for Pesach.
