Invited to Israel
All Detroit physicians have
been extended an invitation to
participate in the fourth world
assembly of the Israel Medical
Association, being held in con-
junction with Israel's 10th an-
niversary celebration.
According to Dr. Bernard
Weston, president of the De-
troit Chapter of the American
Physicians Fellowship for the
IMA, a special tour will leave
New York on Aug. 9, return-
ing Aug. 24 after visits to Israel
and Europe.
Highlights of the - assembly
will include receptions with
President Itzhak Ben-Zvi, gov-
ernment officials and leaders is
the Israel medical profession.
There will be visits to major
hospitals, universities and • a
meeting with scientists at the
Weizmann Institute at Re-
hovoth. Visiting doctors will be
the guests in the homes of
local physicians. A special
sight-seeing tour has been ar-
ranged for wives of doctors.
Physicians wishing to par-
ticipate in the tour, to deliver
papers or serve in panel dis-
cussions at the assembly should
