marital vows before Rabbi Mor-
ris Adler in a ceremony on Jan.
5 were Alice Schiff, daughter
of Mrs. Sarah Schiff, of Webb
Ave., and Dr. Harvey S. Stein,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Stein,
of Mark Twain Ave.
The double-ring rites were
performed beneath a choopah
in the home of the bride's aunt
and uncle. Dr. and Mrs. Henry
Green, of Roslyn. Rd.
Mrs. Edith Baron came here
from Philadelphia, Pa., to be
her sister's matron of honor,
while giving the bride in mar-
riage was her uncle, Dr. Green.
Frank L. Simons was Dr. Stein's
best man, and Dr. S. Neil Jacobs
was an -usher.
The couple left for a honey-
moon in New York City and on
their. return, took up residence
at 4844 Cortland.

Mayfair Room, Rita Feldman,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex

was united in marriage to Her-
bert Bernard Packard, of Stur-

The bride's floor-length gown
was highlighted by long. sleeves
that came to a point at the
wrists, a scooped neckline and
seed pearls with white velvet
appliques that extended from
shoulder to hip in front and
back. She carried a white or-
chid centered on a white Bible.
•Audrey Ethel Feldman, the
bride's sister, was her maid of
honor, and btidesmaids were
Marsha 'Kobaker and Helen Sa-
perstein. • The bridegrooin was
attended by his brother, Robert
Packard, of Charlotte, as best
man, while ushers included Eu-
gene Mall, Alvin Schlossberg,
Jack Schwartz, Dr. Dennis Ko-
van and Martin Packard, a
cousin of the bridegroom from

Rose Kohn Play on
TV Sunday Evening

Former Detroiter Rose Si-
mon Kohn, wife of Dr. A. Max
Kohn, has written another mys-
tery story for television, to be
presented on the "Alfred
Hitchcock Presents" program,
Sunday evening.
Mrs. Kohn is well known here
for her numerous theatrical_
productions, one of which- was•
staged on Broadway in New
York. She was widely acclaimed-
for a play. that was staged here
at the Art Institute a number
of years ago.
She has written plays for
General Electric Theater,
United Artists, David Niven and
Ida Lupino of Four Star Play-
house.
