sorts of games, prizes and sur-
prises, will be the award of an
all-expense-paid week for two

day nursery program of the
Detroit Association for Retarded
Children, with whom Neugarten
pioneered the program in the
Middle West three years ago.
Since the opening of Tau Beta
Community House as a nursery
for pre-school retarded children
in 1955, Neugarten has con-
tributed $21,000. Funds help
pay the salaries for a teacher
and attendants, and also are
used for wheel chairs, hearing
aids, special medication and
surgical appliances for the un-
derprivileged and to help re-
habilitate the physically handi-
capped.

munity Council, has been elect-
ed a vice-president of the newly-
organized Flint Human Rela-
tions Council. Rabbi William
Sajowitz has been chosen a
member of the board of direc-
tors. The new council will meet
at 12 noon, Jan. 29, at the Flint
YWCA, when delegates are in-
vited from all community or-
