Mr. and Mrs. Jack Halperin are now residing in their new
home at 25024 Rue Versailles, Oak Park, Mich.
Mr. Harry W. Lipsitz, of Collingwood Ave., and Mr. Martin
Ross, of Greenview Rd., will be leaving soon for six months
active duty with the U. S. Air Force.
Miss Muriel Kingston was recently heard in a piano recital,
in which she played selections from Haydn, Bach and Beethoven.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Clamage and son, Lawrence, formerly
of Prairie Avenue, are now in their new home at 29549 Gilchrist
Avenue, Franklin Knolls.
A sweet sixteen party was held recently for Margaret Mae
Silverman, granddaughter of Mrs. Harry Silverman.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman H. Stark, of 19169 Ilene, have left
by air for a few weeks' vacation in Hollywood and Miami, Fla.

Miss Tobias attended the 'Uni-
versity of Michigan school of
liberal arts, and is now a stu-
dent at the Wayne State Uni-
versity college of education.
Her fiance is a senior at
Wayne's college of pharmacy,
and is a member of Sigma Al-
pha Mu fraternity.
An August wedding is
planned.

Folk Chorus to Offer
Concert, Jan. 26
In celebration of Jewish Mu-
sic Month, the Detroit Jewish
Folk Chorus, under the direc-
tion of Harvey Schreibman, will
present its annual Jacob Schae-
fer Concert at 8 p.m., Jan. 26,
in the John Lyons Auditorium,
Fenkell at Dexter.
- The program will include
many of Schaefer's best-loved
compositionS, including excerpts
from his oratorio, "Tzvei Bri-
der." There also will be Yiddish,
Israeli and English numbers.
A guest string ensemble will
be featured, and, as an added
attraction, the choir will do its
rendition of "Ballad for Ameri-
cans," with Ellis Freedenson as
soloist.
