turer, humorist and writer, will

8:30 p.m.. Feb. 4.
,The author of the popular
cook book "Love and Knishes"
is the second speaker in a four-
program series scheduled by the
Beth Abraham Men's Club and
Sisterhood, under the chairman-
ship of Harry Saltzman and Mrs.
Irving Michaels.
The first program, featuring
folk singer Martha Schlamme,
was received enthusiastically by
a large audience.
Tickets still remain for the
three remaining programs, at a
series reduction, or may be ob-
tained singly for the Kasdan
program.
The remaining two programs
will feature Dr. Selig Adler, pro-
fessor of history at the Univer-
sity of Buffalo, on March 11,
and Alexander Gabriel, news
commentator and analyst, on
May 20.

During a recent cookie sale
by Cub Pack 256 at Louis Pas-
teur School, Louis Galinsky and
other members of his Den No.
4 took top honors by selling
399 boxes. Louis himself sold
120 boxes. The de.i is super-
vised by Mrs. Margaret Kaner.
The pack added $360 to its
treasury.
The group will next meet
Jan. 24, when an atomic energy
exhibit will be presented. Spe-
cial Detroit Edison Co. engi-
neers will conduct experiments
and explain the peaceful uses
of the atom.

Planning its annual donor

brates the 51st anniversary of
the Jewish National Home for
Asthmatic Children at Denver,

presenting the program, to be
highlighted by a fashion show
by Scholnick's, in cooperation
with two other local JNHAC
branches, Northwest Chapter,
Mrs. Morris Burnstein, presi-
dent; and Junior League, Mrs.
James Golden, president.
Models for the fashion show
will include Mesdames Fred
Alpert, Harry Goldberg, Jr.,
Daniel Lublin, Leslie West and

The third in its monthly
