to Marty Detroiter

Delta Eta Chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon .national sorority,
on the campps of the University of Michigan, was hostess
recently to the sorority's Wayne State University Delta Theta
Chapter at an informal brunch in the DPE sorority house, Ann
Arbor. Attending from the active chapter were Cynthia Levin,
president Taube Hollander, Jackie Baggleman, Marcia Berman,
Sharon Kass, Sandra Cantor, Phyllis Citron, Mary Jolson, Jackie
Klein, ..Sandra Littky, Ilaine Lorber, Adele Neiman, Sharon
Uten and Phyllis Zager. Also participating were the following
alumnae members from Detroit: Una Goodman, president, Evelyn
Parsky, Marilyn Ambdur, Sharon Linden and Emily Schultze.
Mr. and Mrs. Wayne S. Schafer, of 2013 Winona, Flint, Mich.,
recently entertained 80 of their relatives and friends at a
Hanukah buffet supper in their - home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard A. Pearl have moved from the High-
land Tower Apartments and are now residing in their new home
at 24101 Beverly, Oak Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Ratner, of Beverly St., Oak Park,
recently entertained at a birthday party for their granddaughter,
Marilynn Elaine Salmons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy
Salmons.
Messrs. Nort Delidow, Alan Odnert, Herb Pont, Bob Wolfe
and Sandy Wunter recently attended the national convention
of Kappa Nu fraternity, held at the Penn Sheraton Hotel, Pitts-
burgh, Pa. They are members of the fraternity's Alpha Gamma
Chapter at Wayne State University.
A Mr. and Mrs. Club has been formed by young Jewish
couples from Detroit now stationed with the U. S. Army and
Foreign Service at Fort Belvoir, Va., and Washington, D. C. At-
tending the first meeting at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Sidney J.
Rubenstein (Miriam Levin) were Dr. and Mrs. Henry Botuck
(Joan Hertzenson), Mr. and Mrs. Morrey Katz (Marlene Bennett),
Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Singer (Ann Gold) and Dolly and Jerry
Heiman.
Lawrence Jerome Berg, of 1441 Strathcona, is home with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Berg, on a holiday furlough from
the U. S. Army. He will be here until Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. David Kirsh, formerly of San Juan Dr., are„
now residing in their new home at 24671 Gardner, Oak Park.
Mesdames Jack Rabin, David Gellis, Sol Shur and Jack
Wapner recently entertained at a luncheon shower for 40 guests
in honor of bride-elect Marilyn Deanna Sarver, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Ben Sarver, of Flint, Mich. The mid-December shower
was held in the home of Mrs. Rabin, 1606 Ramsey Blvd., Flint.
Miss Sarver, a graduate of the University of Michigan, now at-
tends the University of Buffalo school of education. Her fiance
is David Weisenberg, of New York, a student at the University
of Buffalo medical school.
