MRS. NORMAN BENJAMIN

In a double-ring candle-light
ceremony, performed by Rabbi
Jacob E. Segal and Cantor
Nicholas Fenakel, Barbara Joan
Desmon became the bride of
Norman Benjamin.
The bride is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry M. Des-
mon, of Santa Barbara Dr. Her
husband is the son of Mrs. Ed-
ward Benjamin, of Roselawn
Ave., and the late Mr. Ben-
jamin.
The bride wore a gown of
white Italian silk taffeta with
long tapered Chantilly lace
sleeves. The Sabrina neckline,
also of Chantilly lace, was
beaded with seed pearls and
sequins. Her ensemble was com-
pleted with a softly shirred silk
illusion finger-tip veil imported
from France, setting off a
crown of seed pearls and ir-
idescent sequins on lace. She
carried cascading white orchids,
stephanotis, and lilies-of-the-
valley on her Confirmation
bible.
Her attendants were Sue
Wolfgang, maid of honor; and
Diana Desmon, sister of the
bride, junior bridesmaid.
Lloyd Benjamin, brother of
the bridegroom was best man.
Ushers were Michael Desmon,
the bride's brother and Kenneth
bride's brother and Kenneth
Benjamin, the bridegroom's
brother.
