Miss Ruthe Gutstein
to Wed in December

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Parmet, of Huntington Woods, recently
visited in Las Vegas, Nev.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Spilman of 18248 Stratford, Southfield
Township, entertained their family and friends at a cocktail
party honoring their son-in-law, S/C James Stuart Eisen, who
has returned from overseas service with the U.S. Navy. Mr. and
Mrs. Eisen, who have left for San Diego, Calif., will remain
there with the Navy until February, when they will make their
home in Detroit.
A house party on Sunday will honor Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Kideckel, of 2581 Elmhurst, on the occasion of their 50th wed-
ding anniversary. The couple have six children, ten grandchildren
and one great grandchild. They have been living in Detroit
since 1928.
Kappa Nu Mothers Club will hold its first meeting on Tues-
day at the home of Mrs. Jacob Granader, 4015 Buena Vista.
A party honoring Mr. Julius Sarko on his 65th birthday
was given at the Elmwood Casino by his children, Mr. and Mrs.
Louis Sarko, Mr. and Mrs. Sol Adler, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Gelman, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sarko and Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel
Sarko. Among the guests were Mrs. Sarko, Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Zide, Mrs. Yanen, Sandra Sarko, Barbara Sarko, Mrs. Schein-
field, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Adler, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Wein-
garden, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Diamond and Mr. and Mrs. Hyman
Forman.
Mr. Jules Doneson, of the Jules Doneson Travel Agency, has
returned from a two-week trip to Europe as a guest of Air
France. Mr. Doneson met with tourist agents and hotel owners
in Rome, Venice, Nice, Cannes, Madrid and Paris to discuss
tourist accommodations for 1958. In Madrid, where the 25th
annual World Travel Congress convened, Mr. Doneson met with
leaders of the tourist industry from England, Belgium, Israel,
Switzerland, South Africa, South America and the Orient.
Ethel Handelsman, of 7718 E. JeffersOn, has left for Miami
Beach, Fla., where she will remain for a two-week visit with
her brother, Jay Handelsman.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Solovich, of Santa Rosa Dr., and Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Frumin, of Pennington Dr., currently are
touring in Israel,

Windsor Sisterhood
to Host UOJCA

The Sisterhood of Shaar
Hashomayim Synagogue in
Windsor, will be hostess to the
Great Lakes Chapter of the
Women's Branch of the Union
of Orthodox Jewish Congrega-
tions of America on the eve-
ning of Oct. 28.
At that time the following,
presidents of affiliated sister-
hoods, will be honored: Mes-
dames Oscar Bank, Beth Abra-
ham; Dan Otis, Bnai David; M.
Wildstrom, Gemiluth Chasso-
dim; Theidore Bloom, Shaar
Hashomayim; Morris B err i s,
