er, .daughter of Mrs. Ferdinand
Fisher and the late Mr. Fisher,
and Jack Robert Lifsitz, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Lifsitz.
The bride chose a floor-length
gown of pure silk taffeta, fash-
ioned with a sweetheart neck-
line in the empire effect. The
bodice and tiers of the skirt
were appliqued with Alencon
lace. Her fingertip veil of illu-.
sion fell from a cap of lace and
pearls, and she carried a cascad-
ing bouquet of orchids, stepha-
notis and ivy on a pearl Bible.
The bride, escorted to the
altar by her uncle, Stephen
Lanyi, was attended by her sis-
ter, Judy Fisher, as maid of
honor, while bridesmaids were
Nancy Lustig, Bebe Rosenzweig
and Marsha Lanyi. Linda Lanyi
and Andrea Lanyi were junior
bridesmaids, and Susan Lanyi
was her cousin's flower girl.
Leonard Gordon was the
bridegroom's best man, and ush-
ers included Lawrence Kron,
Allan Becker, Robert Schneider
and Manly Ross.
Following dinner in the Ca-
sino Room, the couple left for
a New York honeymoon. On
their return, they will take up
residence in Ann Arbor.

A Hungarian • Jewish mother
who was separated from her
children and grandchildren dur-
ing World War II, became once
again united with - her family
this week in Cleveland, 0.
Mrs. Bella. Fisher, sister - of
Mrs: David Klein, of Flint,
Mich., arrived in New York,
Saturday, where She was met
by her sister, brother-in-law
and son, John Fisher, after
years of efforts to obtain an
immigration visa.
During World War II, "Mrs.
Fisher, with her daughter, man-
aged to escape from a death
march to a German concentra-
tion camp, where her husband
was eventually killed. Her son,
who served Hungary in the war,
escaped from a Russian camp
where he was held prisoner.
About ten years ago he came
to South America. A few years
afterward he emigrated to the
United States, where he took
Up residence in Cleveland, 0.
Her daughter, son-in-law and
two grandchildren, who escaped
in December from Budapest,
were able to get to Vienna . and
a few weeks later arrived also
in Cleveland. Mrs. Fisher, left
behind, finally obtained her visa.
Upon arrival in Cleveland, she
will reside with her daughter.
