The annual spring concert
presented by the Jewish Folk
Chorus will take place at 8:30
p.m., May 19, in the Scottish
Rite Cathedral of the Masonic
Temple, Second at Temple.
The premiere performance of
the cantata "Esther Hamalkah"
will be featured on the pro-
gram. The lyric drama will in-
clude interpretive dances. The
cast, attired in historically-au-
thentic costumes, will be sup-
ported by an orchestra.
Folk songs in Yiddish, He-
brew and English will comprise
the first portion of the program.
Harvey Shriebman will direct
the concert.

Schedule Art Show

"Art Works of Congress Wo-
men" is the theme of a meet-
ing of Northeast Chapter, Amer-
ican Jewish Congress, to be
held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in

the recent regional conference
