Bermuda Honeymoon

MRS. F. R. WINKELMAN

Carol Judith Rosenman and
Frederick Ross Winkelman were
united in marriage last Sunday
afternoon, at Temple Israel. Drs.
Richard C. Hertz and Leon
Frain officiated at the double-
ring ceremony.
Parents of the newlyweds are
Mr. and Mrs. Sol Rosenman, of
Audrey Ave., - and Mr. and Mrs.
Leon Winkelman, of Fairfield
Ave.
Fashioned of white Italian silk
taffeta and Chantilly lace, the
bride's gown was styled with a
wide crushed cummerbund and
bustle back. A matching lace
cap held her two-tier fingertip
veil. To complement her gown,
the bride carried a colonial bou-
quet of lily-of-the-valley, free-
sia and sweet peas.
Mrs. Herbert Rosenthal was
her niece's matron of honor, and
bridesmaids were Lana Leven-
thal, of New York City, and
Michele M o r r i s, of Jackson,
Mich. Junior bridesmaids were
Tina Rothstein, of Raleigh, N. C.,
Andra Winkelman, Lynne Ros-
enthal and Ronna Feiler, while
flower girls were Phyllis Roth-
stein, of Raleigh, and Margie
Winkelman.
The bridegroom was attended
by his brothers, John, Stanley
and Henry Winkelman, and by
the bride's brother, David Ros-
enman. Seating the guests were
Paul Mandel, Donald Greene,
Tracy Freeman, Daniel Lublin,
William Schussler, Calvin Kutt-
nauer, Richard Simon and Her-
bert Bistrow.
Following a honeymoon trip
to Bermuda and New York, Mr.
and Mrs. Winkelman will make
their home at 23221 Kipling,
Oak Park,

Sets Charity Ball to Marvin Davidson

Amidst a setting of New
York's Central Park, Sheruth
League will present its eighth
annual Children's Charity Ball
at 9 p.m., April 27, at Adas
Shalom Synagogue. Proceeds of
the event will benefit the Haw-
thorne Center at Northville and
the Children's Hospital Leu-
kemia Foundation.
At least 800 guests are ex-
•ected to attend the affair, ac-
cording to Mesdames Theodore
Grant and Sidney E. Locke,
League publicity and hostess
c•armen, respectively, who are
in charge of the evening.
Mrs. Sam Winer is decora-
tions chairman. Mrs. Max Mills
is planning refreshments. Work-
ing on a Dramatic Group pres-
entation are Mesdames Philip
Atkins, Gerald Greenbaum and
Sidney E. Locke. Mesdames Al
Goldfarb, Robert Margolis,' Her-
bert Rosen and Bert Markowitz
are presently creating costumes
for the evening's show, "Around
New York in Forty Minutes."
Felix Resnick will supply
music for dancing and other en-
tertainment.
