Wayne State University.
Workers for the recent Bal-
four Concert of the Zionist Or-
ganization of Detroit will be
honored at a dinner on Thurs-
day, at Holiday Manor, accord-
ing to an announcement by
James I. Ellman, Leonard L.
Radner, and Dr. Bernard Wes-
ton; co-chairmen of the event.
Awards and citations will be
presented to ZOD members who
made major contributions to
the success of the concert,
which .featured cellist Gregor
Piatigorsky.
Heading the list of those to
be honored will be Abraham
Borman and Harty Cohen, both
long-prominent in the leader-
ship of the ZOD and active. in
Balfour Celebrations for many
years.
Rabbi Milton Arm will be
the toastmaster for the dinner.
The awards will be presented
by Rabbi Moses Lehrman.
Harry G. Bradlin is planning
the entertainment.
