Conference on Religion
Wayne State University's an-
nual Campus Conference on
Religion will begin Monday
night and continue through
Thursday, when a series of
programs will be presented to
enable men and women of
various faiths to know the
"great social issues of our age."
The theme of this year's
conference is "Religion in
Higher Education."
The Jewish contribution to
the program is being arranged
by the Bnai Brith Hillel Foun-
dation, • of which Dr. Max Ka-
pustin is director. Local per-
sonalities participating include
Rabbis Morris Adler, Hayim
Donin and Milton Rosenbaum.
Monday's opening event, to
be held at 8:15 p.m., in. the De-
troit Institute of Arts, will be
a Religious Musicale.
- An address on "The Place of
Religion in Higher Education"
will be delivered by Dr. W. W.
Whitehouse, president of Al-
bion College. Wayne president,
Clarence B. Hilberry, will in-
troduce the speaker.
Hillel will be host to the sec-
ond course of a progressive
dinner planned for Wednesday
evening.
