5 Conservative Congregations' Adult
Institute Classes Begin on Tuesday

Lehrman • have worked out a
program for a Leadership
Teacher Training School as part
of the Midrasha. The LTTS
launched its program Oct. 11,
with an enrollment of 20 post-

gregations Adas Shalom, Beth
Aaron and Bnai Moshe. In time
additional congregations are ex-
pected to cooperate in. this pro-
gram.
The purpose of the LTTS is to
train religious school teachers
and club leaders, as well as
students whose interest is to
continue their Jewish education
beyond confirmation.
LTTS meets Thursday eve-
nings and Sunday mornings at
the Esther Berman Branch of
the United Hebrew Schools. The
faculty is comprised of Rabbis
Segal, Gorrelick and Lehrman;

Concert Patrons Sought

Dr. Kenneth Belen, chairman
of the Waldman Concert Week-
end planned by Cong. Ahavas
Achim Nov. 16 to 18, this week
announced the publication of a
souvenir program for the occa-
sion.
Patrons of the concert will be
honored by having their names
inserted in the program, Dr.
Belen said.
The concert will feature ap-
pearances of Cantor Leibele
Waldman, assisted by the Talis-
man Quartet, at sabbath serv-
ices Nov. 16 and 17 and in a
concert on Nov. 18. All pro-
grams will take place in the
synagogue.
