cializes in catering to wed-

our exquisite Parlors for an
intimate family group of as
small as twenty, you may rest
assured that the accommoda-
tions and service will be the

Our- prices are reasonable,
and you'll always be proud to

Although combined purchases
of series E and H United Sav-
ings bonds by residents of
Michigan were some $5.4 mil-
lion under par in June and July,
the state still is slightly ahead
of quota for the first seven
months of 19,56.
According to Delmar V. Cote,
state director for the Treasury's
U. S. Savings Bonds Division,
purchases for the January-July
period totaled $196,073,000,
equivalent to 102.3 per cent of
the goal.
Cote urged wage and salary
earners, farmers, and self em-
ployed and professional persons
to consider seriously the advan-
tages of placing more of their
savings in E and H bonds. He
pointed out that both -the Pay-
roll Savings and Bond-a-Month
plans provide unbeatable means
of systematic, painless saving
for the big things in life.
