Folk Schools Open Registration- Tuesday

Folk Schools will be held this
week, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
Tuesday and Wednesday, in the
school building, 19161 Schaefer.
Regular sessions will begin for
nursery and grade school stu-
dents on Sept. 10. The nursery
meets at 1 p.m., with regular
classes convening at 4 p.m.
The curriculum highlights
Jewish traditions and customs.
There is a Bar Mitzvah class for
boys who have attended at least
four- years of Yiddish or He-

NEW YORK, (JTA) . Dr.
Joseph J. Schwartz, vice presi-
dent of tile Israel Bond Organ-
ization, returned from Mexico
after a two-week visit during
which he participated in the
launching of the Fall, 1956 cam-
paign for Israel bonds in that
country.
He said that "the enthusiastic
response of the Mexican com-
munity during the opening days
of the campaign is an indication
that this year's drive will pro-
duce outstanding results in
Israel bond sales.
