Friends Seek Funds
for Ailing Rabbi

Friends of Rabbi Sholom Mos-
kowitz rallied to his side this
week as he was to undergo a
second operation to correct an
ailment from which he has suf-
fered since being imprisoned
by the Nazis in • concentration
camps.
Rabbi Moskowitz, known as
the Sosover-Shatzer Robe, had
hoped, as in past years, to con-
duct High Holy Day services
here for his followers. Instead,
the condition -of his health has
overtaxed his financial re-
sources.
Friends of the rabbi are ask-
ing that all who wish to con-
tribute to a fUnd to defray
operation costs and provide him
with sustenance during the
coming few weeks to contact
