City, Mo.
The bride-elect attended
Wayne University. Rabbi Klein,
now spiritual leader of Temple
Beth El in Hollywood, Fla., was
formerly associate rabbi of De-
troit's Temple Beth El.
Young's Gap Offers
Free Vacation to Gls
"Lest We Forget," a new
movement designed to provide
entertainment for servicemen
in peacetime, has been launched
at Young's Gap, N. Y., with a
program of free vacations for
GIs.
Starting last Monday, four
servicemen per week- will be
provided free • vacations at the
popular New York resort, it was
announced by Moe Senate,
Young's Gap director.
Servicemen will receive room,
board and full use of the
Young's Gap recreational facili-
ties.

7 Detroiters Get March
Of Dimes Fellowships
Dr. George A. Vidav-er, 20400
Stratford, has been awarded a
March of Dimes fellowship of
$4,600 in medicine and related
biological and physical sciences
by the National Foundation for
Infantile Paralysis, it was an-
nounced by William J. Young,
Jr., chairman of the Wayne
County chapter. •
This postdoctoral fellowship
is for -one year of advanced
training in laboratory research
to prepare for a career in medi-
cal research and teaching. Dr.
Vidaver will study at the Insti-
tute far Enzyme Research of
the University of Wisconsin.
The award was made upon
recommendation of a national
committee composed of medical
educators in the basic science
and clinical fields.
A March of Dimes scholarship
of $1,157 in physical therapy
was awarded to Carol M. Krohn,
17337 Snowden. The one year
scholarship will enable Miss
Krohn to complete her educa-
tion in physical therapy at the
University of Michigan.
Five Detroiters all of Wayne
University received March of
Dimes fellowships of $600 each
for 12 weeks of study at Wayne
University College of Medicine.

studies in public health and
preventive medicine.
