Beverly. Ruth Karbal, daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack M.
Karbal, of - Leslie Ave., became
the bride of Leonard David
Mitz, son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Harry Mitz, in a ceremony
performed June 5 by Rabbis
Morris Adler and Jacob E.
Segal, at Adas Shalom Syna-
gogue.
The bride's short - sleeved
gown was of rosepointe Chan-
tilly lace, and was highlighted
by a picture neckline outlined
in scallops and sprinkled with
sequins. The fitted, bell-shaped
skirt was edged in scallops and
extended into a court train. Her
fingertip veil of illusion fell in
two tiers from a crown of se-
quins.
Joy c e Weisman was the
bride's maid of honor, and. Mrs.
Jack Goldberg, Lorraine Mills,
Esther Forman, Loretta Grenn
and Esther Kaplan were brideS-
maids. Linda Ruth Korn was
junior bridesmaid.
LaWrence Mitz was his broth-
er's best man, and ushers were
Henry Leshman, Morton Lewis,
Ronald Licht, Roger Lipson and
Marvin Morrison.
The bridegroom was escorted
to the altar by his sister and
brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
David Mills. Lawrence David
Korn was junior usher, and
Jerome Stephen Mehler was
ring bearer.
Following a honeymoon in
New York and Bermuda, the
couple will reside on Monte
Vista Ave.
Out-of-town guests attending
the wedding were from New
York, California; Chicago and
Toronto.

New officers will be installed at
a banquet slated for 6:30 p.m.,
Monday at Rainbow Terrace. A
social hour and dancing will
follow. Dr. Leib will be the
third member of his family to
serve as Pisgah Lodge presi-
dent, his brothers, Samuel W.
and Meyer W. preceding him in
office. Plans are being made for
the. celebration of the Lodge's
99th anniversary in November.
