Bonds-Spur Denture Industry

With - the aid of funds derived from the sale of the State of
Israel De, velopment Bond Issue, the production of false teeth
is becoming one of Israel's largest industries, both for honie
and foreign markets. Shown above is Valentine Chitayet, who
boasts ,a beautiful smile graced by non-artificial teeth, display-
ing a set of false teeth manufactured by the American Por-
celain. Tooth COmpany of Tel Aviv, whose operations axe being
expanded with the assistance of Israel Bond funds. The com-
pany, which employs a trained staff of more than 140 persons,
produces ,about 80,000 teeth a day, mostly for export. Among
the large importers are Austria, Yugoslavia, Finland, Turkey
and Costa Rica.

Hadassah Study Groups
Slate Annual Luncheon

Representatives of 35 Hadas-
sah study groups will participate
in the annual Study Group
Luncheon to be held at 12:15
p.m. Wednesday, at Rainbow
Terrace.

sah Newsletter will furnish the
theme of the afternoon's pro•
gram feature, "This I Remem-
ber." Mrs. Harold Koenisberg
will act as moderator, and re-
porters will be Mesdames Mor-
ris Cole, Louis E. Heideman,
Maurice Perlman and Samuel
Rhodes.
Songs by Mrs. Milton Caplan,
vocalist, accompanied by Mrs.
Edward Zellman, will complete
the program. Hostesses will be
women from each of the study
groups.

Triple Play in Pittsburgh
Fills Vacant City Posts

PITTSBURGH (JTA) — A
triple move in city posts has
been carried out here, in which
Special Assistant City Solicitor
Louis Rosenberg was named
Public Safety Council to fill a
vacancy created when A. L.
Wok was sworn in as Orphans
court Judge. Both of the new
appointments were announced
by Mayor David Lawrence.

p.m., Wednesday, in the syna-
gogue social hall.
Mrs. George R. Liss, retiring
president, advises that a lunch-
eon will be served in honor of

elected officers.
Mrs. Philip Heitman is in-
stallation chairman. She is as-

Music Study Juniors
to Present Recital

Members of the Junior Group
of the Music. Study Club will
be heard -in a recital at 2 p.m.,
Sunday, in the Detroit Federa-
tion of Women's Clubs audi-
torium, 4811 Second.
A variety of numbers will be
presented, including a violin en-
semble, clarinet ensemble,
woodwind trio, harp solo, violin
and piano solos, concerto and
vocal selections.
The group is directed-by Zel-
da Eisenberg, with ensemble
work directed by Samuel Eisen-
berg. The public is invited to
attend.
Participants are Carolyn
Fisher, Linda Eisenberg, Susan
Straus s, David Rottenberg,
David Kaufman, Ann Mischa-
