West Olive Converts
Observe Passover
with Sacrificial Lanib

Members of the United Israel
World Union, at West Olive,
Mich., celebrated Passover this
year as they have for the past
dozen or so years by taking "a
lamb without blemish, a male of
the first year, from the goats"
(Ex. 12:6).
After sundown, the kid' was
killed, dressed and roasted over
the oven, according to the man-
ner described in the Bible. The
meal, with its accompanying
ceremonies, was held indoors at
the home of William Goodin,
former minister of the Seventh
Day Church of God.
During the meal, conversation
centered on conditions in Israel,
and wishes for a successful jour-,
ney and settlement in the Jew-
ish state were extended to Clet-
us and Hazel Trinker, who sail
there aboard the SS Zion on
March 30. •.
• Before dawn, a fire was built
on a earthen altar and the re-
mains of the kid—skin, blood,
bones and meat—were burned,
with care being taken to see that
nothing remained at dawn.
