Organization week completed,
students again are settled into
their daily routine with new
hours, teachers and classes.
School for Freshies starts
with a bang as they attend the
Freshman Mixer. This activity,
on Feb. 14, will begin in the
auditorium, where they will be
introduced to their student
council and other organization-
al school activities. They will
then proceed to the 'gym, where
refreshments will be served,
and they will be given an op-
portunity to meet one another.
Afterward, they will have elec-
tions for the council, as will
the whole school for the house
of representatives.
- Mercury, the -school paper,
offers with every subscription
a bonus stub, which entitled
you to see the movie "Death
of a Salesman."
Councilettes will hold their
February meeting this Sunday.
There will be a speaker from
the Police Department, who
will talk on brotherhood.
The student council's recent-
ly appointed committee chair-
men are: Club presidents, Dick
Pollinger; social, Stuart Han-
dler; election, Howard Shapiro
and Barry Samuels; service,
Alan Croll; program, Sandy
Littky and Jay Hamburg; pub-
licity, Elaine Kasoff and Con-
nie Lewis; organizations, Sandy

Gorelick.
The council is planning a
