The -Parent-Teachers Organi-
zation of the Jewish Community
Center Playschool will meet at
8:30 p.m., Thursday, at the D.
W. Simons branch, 4000 Tuxedo.
A Purim workshop is planned.
The Playschool started its sec-
ond semester with an enroll-
ment of 50 children, 3 to 5. Two
full-time teachers, Helga Love
and Inge Levy, conduct sessions
twice daily.
Sharon Herman and Ruth
Kanterman, volunteers from the
National Coulicil of Jewish Wo-
men, assist with school activities
three times a week.

At a recent business meeting
of the Fidelity Ladies Club, Mrs.
Frances Shapiro was voted into
office as president. Assisting
her will be the following ladies:
Esther Kozin, vice-president;
Sarah Glanzrock, treasurer;
Ann Rothenberg and Yetta
Dubin, secretaries; Ida Schultz,
flower fund; Jean Rothenberg,
sunshine; Rose Cohen, chaplain;
Ella Chaifetz, publicity; and Rae
Solomon, - Ann Gross and Mollie
Elbinger, telephone squad.

MRS. BURTON GOLD

In a ,double-ring ceremony
solemnized recently at Adas
Shalom Synagogue, Sandra Bea
Klein, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack Klein, of Santa Bar-
bara Dr., became the bride of
Burton Gold, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Irving Gold, of Penning-
ton *Dr, Rabbi Jacob E. S4gal
and Cantor Nicholas Fenakel
officiated.
The bride's gown was of
floor-length Chantilly lace and
Italian velvet. A cap of match-
ing lace held in place her
tiered fingertip veil, and she
carried orchids and stephan-
otis atop a Bible.
Faith Klein, was her sister's
maid of honor, and ,pamela
Klein, another sister, was her
flower girl. Bridesmaids were
Sandra Kraft, Marilyn Shapiro,
Elaine Rubin and Sharlene
Lewis. Arlyne Dorfman was
junior bridesmaid...
Frank Blase was the bride-
groom's best man, while seat-
ing the guests were Gerald
Kraft, Herbert Shapiro, Shel-
don Schenfield and Mark Liss.
Following a honeymoon
cruise of the Caribbean and
South America, the young cou-
ple will return here to take up
residence.

ond annual Sweetheart Dance
at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the
synagogue social hall. The
dance is stag or drag.
Because of Leap Year, girls
will have the opportunity of
choosing a yoUng man as
Ahavas Achim "sweetheart."
There will be Sadie Hawkins
dances, prizes and other fea-
tures.
Richard Snyder, vice-presi-
dent of social affairs, has named
Martin Lipson to be in charge
of the dance.

A Purim social is planned by
the Beth Aaron PTO, United
Hebrew Schools, at 8:30 p.m.,
Feb. 29, in the Esther Berman
Bldg., 18977 Schaefer. Funds
raised will go to a special holi-
day party fund for the students.
