MRS. LAWRENCE STRAGER
Bernadene Janice Woloveck,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed-
ward Woloveck, of 17521 Rose-
lawn, was married in a candle-
light ceremony Jan. 22, to
Lawrence E. Strager, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Sol Strager, of 19300
Prairie. Dr. Frank Rosenthal
performed the double-ring rites,
held in the Lee Plaza Hotel.
The bride wore a gown of
chantilly lace and tulle, with an
appliqued Alencon lace shell
headpiece, which held in place
her three-tiered, fingertip veil
of French illusion. She carried
white orchids and fleur de amor.
Mrs. Harry Kellman, the
bridegroom's sister, was matron
of honor, and bridesmaids were
Barbara Jean Woloveck and
Mrs. Sidney Kort. The bride-
groom was attended by his
brother, Norman Strager, as
best man, and ushers were
Stanley Litinsky and Jerry
Brenner.
Also in the bridal party were
the bride's maternal grandpar-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin
Goldman, of Dayton, 0., and her
paternal grandmother, Mrs. Re-
becca Woloveck, of Akron, 0.
Following dinner and a recep-
tion, the couple left for a motor
trip through the West.
Out-of-town guests were from
Cleveland, Akron, Dayton, Co-
lumbus and Marion, 0.; New
York City; Meadsville, Pa., Du-
quesne, Pa. and Peoria, Ill.

into a first place tie with South-
western after a 75-51 victory
over Western last week. Louis
Gibbs led the team's scorers
with 30 points: The Blazers tan-
gle with Southwestern today in
the showdown for the league
lead.

AZA collected over $200 for the
March of Dimes last week in a
drive called "Peanuts for Polio."
For their part in the nationwide
"Teens against Polio" campaign,
members sold peanuts on street
corners and at AZA meetings.
Taking part in the drive were
Manny Higer and Herbie Horo-
witz, co-chairmen, and chap-
ter, members Mickey Suskind,
John Freed, Larry Greene, Ron-
nie Stewart, Sheldon Stoffer,
,Arnie Zalesin and Jeffrey Weiss.
