Mrs. Louis M. Elliman, of the Belcrest Hotel, will be the
guest of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, Calif., for the
next several months. '
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice M. Mackey, of 18475 Roselawn, will
hold open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, in honor of the grad-
uation of their daughter, Jeanne. No cards.
Mrs. Louis Schwartz and daughter, Shirley, of 5129 W. Outer
Dr., have returned home after attending the Bar Mitzvah of
Eugene Moscovitz in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Mr. ,Allan J. Roth, son of the Fred Roths, of Tyler Ave.,
returned recently after spending a few days at Albion. College
where he wag the guest of Barry K. Branch, of Flint, -a student
at the college.
Mr. Gilbert Kroman, son of Dr. and Mrs. Martin Kroman,
of Fairway Dr., and Mr. Seymour Pearlman, son of Dr. and Mrs.
Philip Pearlman of Lincolnshire Dr., are on a skiing trip to Gay-
lord, Cadillac and Caberfae. When they return, their families
will leave to spend the remainder of the winter in Miami
Beach, Fla.
Miss Betty Herman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Herman,
of Washburn Ave., is spending several months in New Orleans,
La., following a trip thrOugh the West. She will return here
in the spring.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Siegel, formerly of Leslie Avenue,
are now residing at their new home, 18717 Whitcomb.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Margolis were honored at a recent
dinner party given in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary
by their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glen A. Gold-
strom, of Oak Park, Mich.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Greenberg, of Strathmoor Ave., have
returned from an 11-country tour of Europe. Crossing on the
Queen Elizabeth and returning aboard the Queen Mary, the
Greenbergs stopped in England,' Holland, Belgium, Germany,
Austria, Switzerland, Luxemberg, Lichtenstein, Italy and France.
Miss Phyllis Schatten was recently honored at a sweet sixteen
party given by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard W. Schatten,
of _Carol Ave. Her 75 guests were greeted by tables beautifully
decorated with white and pink chrysanthemums and'snap dragons,
sprinkled with silver glitter.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Friedman and family, formerly of Tux-
edo Ave., have moved to their new home on Prairie Ave.
Mr. and Mrs. David H. Cooperman , and daughter, Frances,
of Pasadena Ave., recently visited their daughter and son-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. J. Walter Jonas (Carole Cooperman), former De-
troiters now of Floral Park, Long Island, N. Y.
