The GREATER DETROIT
BNAI BRITH COUNCIL re-
ceived 257 pints of blood at its
first rally of the year last Mon-
day night, at Beth Aaron Syna-
gogue. There were 53 rejects.
Milo Rappaport, Council blood
bank chairman, states that there
will be two blood rallies in
March, one March 19, at Beth
Aaron, and a second March 20,
at Temple Israel, in order to ac-
commodate all persons wishing
to give or replace blood.

Cohen. Mesdames Eric Green-
baum, Ernest Greenfield and

The Women's League will also
sponsor a cash shower at 8:30
p.m., Feb. 9, in the home of
Mrs. Jack Carmen, 4031 Glen-
dale. All proceeds will go to the
Mogen Hayeled Home in Israel,
which is sponsored by the Na-
tional Council of Young Israel
and is one of the Women's
League projects.
