Schechter-Weinbaum
Rites Held Dec. 25

MRS. RONALD SCHECHTER
In the chapel of Adas Shalom
Synagogue, under a canopy of
pink and white flowers, Mr.
and Mrs. Daniel Weinbaum, of
Pennington Dr., gave their
daughter, Sheila Rita, in mar-
riage to Ronald Schechter, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Hyman
Schechter, of Northlawn Ave.
Rabbi Morris Adler and
Rabbi Jacob E. Segal perform-
ed the Dec. 25 wedding, to-
gether with Cantor Nicholas
Fenakel.
The bride wore an heirloom
gown, with detachable train of
ivory satin, and having a fitted
bodice of Chantilly lace, trim-
med with seed pearls.
The fingertip -veil of illusion
fell from a tiara of matching
lace,- and she carried her con-
firmation Bible, adorned with
white orchids. She also wore a
single strand of pearls belong-
ing to her great grandmother.
Mrs. Manuel Katzman, sister
of the bride, was matron • of
honor, and Barbara Weinbaum,
_Mrs. Melvyn Forman and Cyn-
. thia - Leitman were bridesmaids.
Ronna. Sue Katzman and Har-
riet Weinbaum were floWer
girls.
Neal Schechter served as his
brother's best man, while Rob-
ert Schechter and Howard
Schechter, also his brothers,
and Manuel Katzman were
ushers.
The newlyweds left for a
honeymoon in Jamaica, follow-
ing which they will return
here to resume studies at
Wayne University. Both will
graduate in June.

Mrs. Robert Greenley, 3202
Clements, for a discussion on
"Problems in the Public Schools
Today."
The film interview of Dr.
Robert Oppenheimer and Ed-
ward R. Murrow will be the
feature of Branch 1060's meet-
ing at 9 p.m., in the home of
the Irving Rosenbaums, 15020
Marlow, Oak Park. Officers will
be elected.
Branch 460-E, now planning
its 17th anniversary program,
will meet for an educational
progiam at 9 p.m.; in the Circle
Center, 11529 Linwood.
