residing in their new home, at 19500 Robson.

Rabbi and Mrs. Chaim Meisels will hold open house, from

1 to 10 p.m., Sunday, in their home at 3255 Lawrence. Rabbi

Meisels, known as the Sarvasher Rebbe and spiritual leader of
Cong. Khal Karedim, is leaving with his family to take up perma-
nent residence in New York.

Bernard Slomovitz, of North Arlington, N. J., was the guest of
his family here cover the Thanksgiving week end.

Mrs. Roosevelt to Address 41st Annual Dinner of JDC

The nation's former First
Lady, Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt,
will be the featured speaker at
the Annual Dinner of the Joint
Distribution Committee, it was
announced today by Edward M.
M. Warburg, JDC Chairman.
Scheduled to be held in the Sell
Room of the Hotel Waldorf As-
toria, New York, Dec. 15, the
dinner will culminate the Forty-.
First Annual Meeting of this
major American philanthropic
agency.

Mr. and Mrs. Samuel H. Weisman, of 17416 Kentucky,trecently,
entertained at a supper-dance honoring their daughter, Myrna Gail,
on the occasion of her sixteenth birthday. Out-of-town guests who
helped her celebrate" wereRonald Weisman, Richard Hartz, David
Kamirisky and Charles Toby, all students at Michigan State Univer-
sity;, and Ronald Robiner, from Ferris University.
