Criminal Be Tried
Describing Dr. Paul Clauberg .,
who headed the Nazi Medical
Experimental Center at t h e
Auschwitz concentration camp
and who was returned from the
Soviet Union to Western Ger-
many, as "one of the worst of
the Nazi war criminals," the
World Jewish Congress called
upon the Bonn government to
try him- immediately. The organ-

the Central Council of Jews in
Germany; which had issued a
similar demand.
Dr. Israel G _ oldstein, chairman
of the WJ Congress' western
hemisphere executive, asserted
that "civilized opinion every-
where will learn with the deep-
est distress" that the man di-
rectly involved in causing the
death of many thousands of de-
fenseless captives of the Nazis, is
"now at liberty to propagate his
unreconstructed Nazi ideas."
