Pelton-Newman Rites
Planned for Dec. 27

MISS SUSAN PELTON

The engagement of Susan Pel-
ton to Alan Newman was an-
nounced recently by the bride-
elect's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Norman Pelton of Rochester,
N.Y. Mr. Newman is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. David Newman, of
18%73 Santa_ Barbara.
Miss Pelton is presently *a lib-
eral arts student at the University
of Michigan. Her fiance received
his bachelor's degree from U.
of -M. and is a recent graduate
-of the university's law school.
The ceremony will be solemn-
ized on Dec. 27,- in Rochester.
